Abstract
The scavenging of hydroxyl radicals were determined by Guo et al. The reactions were performed in 0.3 ml of 20 mM sodium salicylate, 2.0 ml of 1.5 nM FeSO4, 1.0 ml of samples, and 1.0 ml of 6 mM H2O2.The reaction mixture was incubated for 1 hat 37 °C. The absorbance was measured at 510 nm. The inhibition percent and 50% of absorbance(EC50)were calculated.
